I am a qualified nutritionist based in Swindon, supporting individuals and families across the UK to develop healthier, more balanced relationships with food. Having personally experienced the challenges of managing my own weight, I understand how frustrating and overwhelming nutrition advice can be. I’ve never been ‘skinny’ and I think aiming for ‘normal BMI’ can be limiting.
I am most passionate about a whole-istic approach to our life here on earth, knowing that genetics, upbringing, social and economic, cultural and other backgrounds can affect our relationship with food and with our bodies. I believe that we all deserve to feel healthy so that we’re able to do what we’re meant to do to the best of our ability.
As the image above suggests, I believe in connecting healthy eating habits with exercise, and am often out cycling, open water swimming, or the occasional half marathon when I’m feeling particularly ambitious.
I hold a Degree in Food and Nutrition from the University of South Africa and am a member of The Nutrition Society, the UK’s leading learned society for the advancement of nutritional science. My approach combines academic knowledge with practical, real-world guidance, empowering clients to make informed choices without restrictive dieting or unnecessary complexity.
I believe that good nutrition should be both effective and achievable. Whether you are looking to improve your overall health, manage your weight, support your family’s wellbeing, or develop a more positive relationship with food, I provide personalised, evidence-based support tailored to your goals and circumstances.
My aim is simple: to help you feel confident about food, understand your nutritional needs, and create healthy habits that last.
For those who are interested in engaging with a Christian nutritionist, I also explore the interconnected-ness of our faith and our approach to healthy living and nutrition. Let me know if you’d like to incorportate this into our sessions. (NB: I work with those of any faith, or none – no prejudices.)
